The Pink Bride bills itself as Tennessee’s Leading Wedding Resource. With wedding shows in six markets, magazines in five, and mobile-ready website, The Pink Bride stands out in a crowd. Its website serves wedding couples who are shopping for services and wedding businesses, looking to be found.
The creative cast at The Pink Bride is all about being provocative and refreshing the appeal of its multi-prong marketing attack on an ongoing basis. While many businesses make incremental changes, largely playing itself, this company is only comfortable being cutting edge.
Brides want new and different!
And with that, The Pink Bride website unveiled a new welcome page with clean, sharp graphics, and user-friendly search engine for wedding products and service in all its six Tennessee markets. And their pink leading lady stands out in crowd of wedding marketing clutter!
The big excitement, this week, are the major changes being unveiled out at its Nashville Wedding Show, this Sunday, August 24, 11am – 4pm at the Nashville Music City Center.
It’s fun being a trendsetter

Thirteen Business Building Strategies To Start The New Year: Tip #7
Do not kid yourself. Just because you tried something in the past that succeeded or failed, don’t assume that if you repeat the exercise you will get the same result. Use Zero-Base Thinking and plan anew.
The world is changing at a staggering rate. Relying blindly on yesterday’s assumptions is a dangerous practice.
You must continue to expand your knowledge and expertise and not just operate in the vacuum of your business. It is only by exposure to new ideas, techniques and strategies that you can continue to have an edge in developing your business.
I spoke about optimizing websites for SmartPhone access almost three years ago at a BSPI Conference (Bridal Show Producers International). It was one of those situations when, for the most part, people weren’t ready for what I had to say.
In developing websites and blogs, since 1997, I’ve maintained a 5% Rule.
Simply, if a technology in websites is important to more than 5% of users, you cannot ignore it. You must bring your website, current.
Today, when I work with clients, assessing their websites, I look at their analytics to see how much of their traffic is seen on smart phones and tablets. Today, those percentages range from 10-25% and more. If your website is not easily viewed on mobile technology, you are making it hard for a prospect or customer to do business with you. If your competitor has made that upgrade, you are at a competitive disadvantage.
