On a related note, this week, the news in Las Vegas is about the sale and implosion of the Riviera Hotel. Upon approval by its Board of Directors, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority will be the new owner of the property.

The most talked about plans for the property include more convention space and a visitors authority presence on the Las Vegas strip.
