Danielle LaPorte is a public speaker, author, iconoclast and an inspirational flamethrower. I don’t remember how I first came across Danielle’s website. That doesn’t much matter. What does matter is I discovered a kindred spirit.
Yesterday, I read the first chapter to her upcoming book, The Fire Starter Sessions (She is offering Chapter 1 as a free download, in advance of the 4/17/12 release). In fact, I’ve read several times since yesterday.
I like to think I do a good job, sometimes an excellent job, in moving people to action, in all of my endeavors. Danielle does it, on steroids.
She does it in prose, headlines, unfiltered ideas, and challenges. Danielle challenges you to step up, and declare yourself. Be authentic and don’t compromise. All elements that deliver a searing appeal to any entrepreneur. If she were a poker player, she’d be all-in, at every opportunity.
Knowing oneself can sometimes be a challenge… just read that first chapter from her book and you’ll experience the mine field she navigated in becoming the self-assured person she is, today.
I’m going to post a countdown calendar to the release of her book. Her approach is unfettered, unfiltered, straight-up truth… an unparalleled soul vaccination.
To say that Danielle is a public speaker or a writer is actually a considerable understatement.
“Danielle LaPorte is a damn inspirational flamethrower.”
I think she’d like that…
I appreciate the opportunity to read her prose, understanding her thinking, and look forward to the day I’m in the audience for one of her presentations.
To excel at what I do, it’s important to surround myself with fresh ideas, great thinkers, and intensely self-assured human beings that take no prisoners. Just in case I momentarily stray from my purpose and identity, I have a few people on my short list to refresh my clarity.
Danielle LaPorte is at the top of my short list.
